Substructure Design/Analysis Dialog

Opens when Substructure Design/Analysis is selected in the Analysis group.

Select the Pier/Abutment to be designed in LEAP Concrete Substructure from the dropdown list

Mapping of loads between Substructure and Superstructure modules
Dead load and live load reactions can be transferred from the superstructure module to the substructure module. Use the following to select which dead load cases and live load cases will be transferred.

DC: Component and Attachments:

This dropdown list shows all dead load cases (DC1 and DC2) that have been defined for the superstructure. Check the load cases to be transferred:

This dropdown list shows all DW cases that have been defined for the superstructure. Check the load cases to be transferred:

Example-

LL: Vehicular Live Load

This dropdown list shows all live load cases that have been defined. Select one of the load cases to be mapped to the substructure module Vehicular Live Load case.

Example-

LLf: Live load Fatigue

This dropdown list shows all live load cases that have been defined. Select one of the load cases to be mapped to the substructure module Fatigue Live Load case.

LLp: Live load Permit

This dropdown list shows all live load cases that have been defined. Select one of the load cases to be mapped to the substructure module Permit Live Load case.

Design/Analysis Press this button to reset the loads that were transferred from LEAP Bridge Steel to the substructure module if the superstructure geometry has changed
Close Press this button to save all changes and exit the dialog.
